Why it works
Stains live in the stone, not on it.
Natural stone is porous: spills draw down into the material where surface cleaning can’t follow. Effective treatment matches the chemistry to the stain — drawing oil out with poultices, oxidising organics, dissolving mineral deposits — without harming the stone around it.
Stain-specific chemistry
Oil, organic, rust and mineral staining each get the treatment that actually works on them.
Stone-safe methods
Treatments are matched to the stone type, protecting the surface and surrounding finish.
Dwell time on our clock
Poultices and treatments need hours to work — ours run overnight while you’re closed.
Sealed after treatment
Impregnating sealers protect treated areas against the next spill.

Questions, answered
What facilities teams ask us.
If your question isn’t covered, the survey is the fastest way to a straight answer — free and without obligation.
Can every stain be removed?
Most, but not all — deep-set or aged staining can be permanent. We assess realistically at the survey and tell you the likely outcome before you commit, sometimes with a test patch first.
Will the treatment damage the stone?
No — the treatment is selected for both the stain and the stone type. Where a treatment affects surface sheen, we re-hone or re-polish the area as part of the work.
What causes white marks and dull rings on stone?
Usually etching from acidic spills (wine, citrus, cleaning products) rather than a stain. Etching is corrected by polishing — often alongside stain treatment in one programme.
How do we stop stains coming back?
Impregnating sealers dramatically slow absorption, buying time to wipe spills before they penetrate. We recommend sealing all treated stone — see our stone sealing service.
