Working while you’re closed
Resilient & Safety Floors
Hard floors, deep cleaned overnight.
Machine deep cleaning for vinyl, rubber, resin and composite floors across Cornwall & Devon — scheduled out of hours, so your floors come back without your operation missing a shift.
Fixed proposal for the agreed scope · Access and handover confirmed in writing
Handover planned around your operation
What it is designed to achieve
Years of traffic, gone by morning.
Daily mopping maintains a floor; it doesn’t restore one. Embedded soiling, traffic lanes and greyed-out finishes need machine restoration — and that’s disruptive work, unless it happens while you’re closed.
True machine restoration
Rotary and scrubber-dryer systems lift the embedded soiling that daily cleaning leaves behind.
Minimal disruption
Completed overnight or over a weekend — floors clean, dry and back in service for the agreed handover time.
Protection that lasts
Optional dressings and seals slow re-soiling and make your daily clean more effective.
Documented results
Before-and-after records plus maintenance recommendations to protect the result.
When to consider this service
Signs the floor needs a closer assessment.
- Traffic lanes remain after routine cleaning
- The finish looks grey, dull or uneven
- Soil is embedded in textured or porous areas
Floors and environments covered
Vinyl, rubber, resin, terrazzo, tile, safety flooring and other compatible commercial hard floors.
Operational and curing considerations
Timing depends on floor condition, preparation, area size, drying or curing requirements and the access available. These are confirmed in the written proposal before work is agreed.
We work while you’re closed
Delivered out of hours, as standard.
Most contractors expect your business to work around them. We work around you. Here’s what a typical overnight programme looks like — from the moment you lock up to the moment you open on restored floors.
-
17:30
Your business closes
Staff and customers head home. Your premises are handed over under agreed access protocols.
-
18:00
Zest arrives
Our technicians arrive on site with everything needed — no deliveries, no daytime setup.
-
Overnight
Professional restoration
The full restoration is completed while the building is empty. No noise complaints, no closed-off areas.
-
05:30
Final inspection
Every area is checked, dried and signed off against the agreed specification.
-
08:00
You open on restored floors
Doors open at the agreed handover time, to a floor that looks new. Your team simply arrives to the result.
Access, security and keyholding protocols are agreed before any work begins. Weekend and closure-period programmes are available where an overnight window isn’t enough.

Questions, answered
What facilities teams ask us.
If your question isn’t covered, the assessment is the fastest way to a straight answer — free and without obligation.
Will the floor be dry by the agreed handover time?
Drying time is built into the programme. The expected return-to-use window is confirmed after we assess the floor, area and conditions.
How often should a commercial hard floor be deep cleaned?
It depends on traffic: most commercial floors benefit from a machine deep clean every 6–12 months, with high-traffic retail and healthcare areas at the shorter end. We’ll recommend an interval at the assessment.
Do we need to move furniture or equipment first?
No. Moving and reinstating furniture is part of the service and is agreed during the assessment, so your team walks into a fully reset space.
Which floor types can you deep clean?
Vinyl, LVT, rubber, resin, terrazzo, tile and safety flooring. If a floor needs restoration rather than cleaning — resealing or recolouring, for example — we’ll say so at the assessment.
