Working while you’re closed
Carpet & Upholstery
Repair the damage, keep the carpet.
Re-tensioning, patching, seam and edge repairs that make damaged commercial carpet safe and presentable again — without replacing the whole installation.
Fixed proposal for the agreed scope · Access and handover confirmed in writing
Handover planned around your operation
What it is designed to achieve
One damaged metre shouldn’t cost you the floor.
Rucks, lifted seams, burns and worn patches are trip hazards and eyesores — but they’re local problems. Skilled repair deals with the damage for a fraction of replacement, and buys years before the floor genuinely needs relaying.
Invisible-as-possible patching
Damaged sections replaced with matched stock or donor carpet from low-visibility areas.
Trip hazards eliminated
Rucks re-stretched and seams re-bonded — removing liability, not just the wrinkle.
Years added to the asset
Targeted repair defers capital replacement to when it’s actually needed.
Done between shifts
Repairs complete overnight, with adhesives cured before traffic returns.
When to consider this service
Signs the floor needs a closer assessment.
- Carpet has rippled or lost tension
- A local burn, tear or stain needs patching
- A seam or edge is lifting and creating a trip concern
Floors and environments covered
Compatible broadloom carpet and carpet tiles where a sound repair can extend useful life.
Operational and curing considerations
Timing depends on floor condition, preparation, area size, drying or curing requirements and the access available. These are confirmed in the written proposal before work is agreed.

Questions, answered
What facilities teams ask us.
If your question isn’t covered, the assessment is the fastest way to a straight answer — free and without obligation.
Can a patch really be invisible?
With retained off-cuts or donor carpet from a cupboard or low-visibility corner, patches in looped contract carpet can be near-invisible. In worn or faded carpet the patch may read slightly newer — we’re honest about the expected result before starting.
Our carpet has rippled — does it need replacing?
Usually not. Rippling generally means the carpet has lost tension, and power-stretching restores it. It’s a routine overnight repair — and it removes a genuine trip liability.
Do you repair carpet tiles as well?
Yes — damaged tiles are lifted and replaced with attic stock or rotated from concealed areas; we can also source close matches for common ranges.
When is repair not worth it?
When wear is general rather than local, or the carpet is at end of life across the whole area. If that’s what we find, we’ll say so rather than sell you a repair that won’t satisfy.
