Which stone types can be polished?
Marble, limestone, travertine, terrazzo and granite all respond to diamond polishing. Different stones take different finishes — we agree the target sheen, from honed to high gloss, at the survey.
How long does the result last?
Years, with sensible maintenance. Because the polish is mechanical rather than a coating, it wears gradually and can be maintained with periodic burnishing rather than full re-polishing.
Is the process dusty or wet?
We polish wet with full slurry containment and leave the area clean and dry. There’s no airborne dust issue for adjacent spaces.
Can you remove etch marks and stains too?
Etching polishes out as part of the process. Deeper staining is handled with targeted stain treatment, often in the same programme — see our stone stain treatment service.
