Why it works
A dirty safety floor isn’t a safety floor.
Safety flooring works by texture — and when that texture fills with soap residue, grease and soil build-up, its slip resistance quietly disappears while it still “looks clean”. Restoring it is a compliance issue, not a cosmetic one.
Slip resistance restored
Deep cleaning clears the profile build-up that destroys grip in wet rooms and kitchens.
Evidence for your file
Optional BS 7976 pendulum testing before and after gives you documented PTV results.
No facilities offline
Wet rooms and kitchens are cleaned overnight, so care routines and service are never interrupted.
Planned maintenance
A recurring out-of-hours programme keeps slip resistance — and your records — consistently in order.

Questions, answered
What facilities teams ask us.
If your question isn’t covered, the survey is the fastest way to a straight answer — free and without obligation.
Why does safety flooring become slippery?
The slip-resistant profile fills with soap residue, body fats, grease and soil that ordinary mopping can’t remove. The surface can look clean while its measured slip resistance falls well below safe levels.
Can you prove the floor is safe after cleaning?
Yes — we offer BS 7976 pendulum slip testing before and after the clean, giving you documented PTV values for your compliance records.
Do you work around care home and hospital routines?
Always. Work is scheduled with your team around night routines, and we follow your infection-control and access requirements throughout.
How often should safety flooring be deep cleaned?
High-use wet rooms and kitchens typically need specialist cleaning every 3–6 months. We’ll recommend a schedule based on use and, where testing is included, on measured results.
