Ready for your agreed opening time

We know your building

Your calendar is our schedule.

School floors work harder than almost any commercial surface — and the windows to maintain them are fixed: evenings, weekends, half-terms and the long summer. We plan restoration programmes around the academic year, and holiday slots are booked well in advance.

Term-time invisible

Work runs after hours and through closure periods — pupils and staff only ever see the result.

Budgets stretched further

Restoring halls, corridors and classrooms costs a fraction of replacement — important when every pound is argued for.

Sports floors handled properly

Timber hall refinishing with line marking, programmed for holidays so fixtures aren’t touched.

Safeguarding-aware working

Vetted, uniformed technicians, agreed access protocols, and no contractor presence during the school day.

We work while you’re closed

Delivered out of hours, as standard.

Evenings, weekends, half-terms and summer provide useful access windows. The programme and agreed return-to-use time are confirmed around the academic calendar.

  1. 17:30

    Your business closes

Staff and customers head home. Your premises are handed over under agreed access protocols.

  2. 18:00

    Zest arrives

Our technicians arrive on site with everything needed — no deliveries, no daytime setup.

  3. Overnight

    Professional restoration

The full restoration is completed while the building is empty. No noise complaints, no closed-off areas.

  4. 05:30

    Final inspection

Every area is checked, dried and signed off against the agreed specification.

  5. 08:00

    You open on restored floors

Doors open at the agreed handover time, to a floor that looks new. Your team simply arrives to the result.

Access, security and keyholding protocols are agreed before any work begins. Weekend and closure-period programmes are available where an overnight window isn’t enough.

Questions, answered

What education managers ask us.

If your question isn’t covered, the assessment is the fastest way to a straight answer — free and without obligation.

Can large projects be completed within a half-term?

Usually, yes — a week-long closure is a generous window for most restoration programmes. Summer holidays accommodate the biggest projects, such as full sports hall refinishing. Book early: holiday slots fill first.

Do you work during term time at all?

Yes — evening and weekend work suits classrooms, corridors and dining halls, provided the floor is ready for use by the next school day. Anything needing longer cure times is scheduled into closures.

How do you handle safeguarding requirements?

Our technicians work outside school hours under agreed access arrangements, sign in and out per your policy, and are never on site unaccompanied during the school day.
